We are informed that a treaty between the United States and the Six Indian Nations, has been concluded at Fort Stanwix, by which peace is confirmed to the late hostile tribes the Senecas, Mohawk, Onondages and Cayugas, upon their having delivered into the hands of the Commissioners of the United States: Six hostages, who are Sachems & warriors, to remain in the power of the United States until all the prisoners in the hands of the late hostile tribes shall be delivered up, which it is expected will be soon performed -- and also upon the condition of a boundary line having been agreed to, between the United States and the possessions of the six Nations -- by this line a large territory is yielded to the United States.
