In speaking of the reported Indian difficulties in Southern Oregon, about which considerable speculation has recently been indulged in this quarter, the last Oregon Times says:—'The rumors of Indian difficulties in the Rogue river country do not amount to anything serious. From all the information we have, we are of opinion that there is nothing serious to be apprehended.'

The communication of B. F. Brown, Esq., in another column, 'does up' the 'Strong' 'Brown,' 'brown' and 'strong.' men. We are indebted to J. W. Sullivan, Esq., News Depot, San Francisco, Cal., for a supply of late papers, pictorials and magazines, received per Stuart's express, this week.
