ST. PATRICK'S DAY.--At a meeting of the Knights of St. Patrick, held last Wednesday night, a committee was appointed to wait upon Rev. Father Sherren, assistant pastor of St. Mary's Church, and invite him to deliver an address upon the life and character of the illustrious Saint Patrick, whose natal day will be celebrated to-morrow. The invitation was accepted, and half past seven o'clock to-morrow night and St. Mary's Church designated as the time and place of the address. An invitation was, at the meeting alluded to, extended to the Catholic Beneficial Society to listen to the address, and at a meeting of that society, held last night, the invitation was accepted.
