Ran Down a Wheelman.

Dr. C. O. Stewart, a colored physician
who lives at 2010 E Street northwest, while
riding his bicycle near L Street about 9:30
o'clock last night collided with a horse
and wagon driven by an unknown man.
The doctor was thrown from his wheel
and sustained an ugly laceration of the
scalp. He was taken to the Emergency
Hospital in No. 3 patrol wagon and after
having his wounds dressed was sent to his
home. Mr. Stewart claimed that the horse
and wagon ran into him and that the
driver of the vehicle, without waiting to
ascertain the extent of his injuries, drove
rapidly away.
