Full Text

The diplomatic connections between England and the States of Bavaria and Wirtemberg, have been put an end to in consequence of the disagreeable occurrences which took place at the Courts of Munich and Stutgard, produced by the conduct of the British Minister resident there. The English Ambassadors to those German Courts have been formally recalled. Of those two ministers, one, Mr. Spencer Smith, set out for Italy by way of Vienna, and the other is gone to the North of Germany. Mr. Drake arrived, the 16th of May, at Berlin from Dresden, and was set down at Mr. Jackson's from whence he has, most probably, continued his journey to his own country. His stay at Dresden was shortened, we understand, by some difficulties that the presence of his minister experienced on the part of the Government of the elector of Saxony.
