The State Finances. No measure has as yet been adopted by the Legislature to increase the State revenues. Various bills have been reported and discussed in the two Houses, but what their final action will be it is impossible to predict.

Internal Improvement Fund. The bill to transfer the Internal Improvement Fund to the Public Treasury, to meet debts contracted by the State on account of Railroad endorsements, passed the Commons on yesterday by yeas 84 nays 20. The bill was advocated by Messrs. Hackney, Smith, Neal, and others, and opposed by Messrs. Flemming, Hayes, and others. This bill will most probably become a law.
