Full Text
The Editor of the Boston Commercial Gazette pays the following tribute to the master of the series of political Essays from Jenks's Gazette, marked No. I to No. X on the Real Communications. To whose letters the able and true author means to send them, zealously not but from the specimens he has given his hand in exposing and ably in defending the views of foreign and base intruders, disorganizers, and political men of errors, he will still keep to his post: the genius of Solon has come over him as a full sentinel on the watch tower; and until his tour of duty shall be completed, his reward will be a just thanks of his country.
