Full Text
Beulah, grade seven, is the sister of Kathleen Etsitty, who won the Bee two consecutive years in 1960 and 1961.
After covering the hardest words in the regular spelling list, Beulah then tried tongue twisters from Webster's unabridged dictionary and triumphed over runner-up Myron Sinyella, also from St. Michael's School, with the correct spelling of the word 'malfeasance'.
The audience agreed that it was the finest spelling match that it had ever witnessed and warmly congratulated Beulah who will participate with the other thirteen county winners at Phoenix.
