Attacked by an Angry Cow.

A dispatch from Ponca City reads that Mrs. Isaac Smith, the wife of a farmer living near here, had a narrow escape from what might easily have been a fatal accident. She was attacked by an angered cow. She grasped the animal's horns and screamed for help. The brute bore her to the ground and before help reached her, Mrs. Smith was considerably bruised. She never loosed her hold upon the horns and the only cut they inflicted was upon the lip which required a few stitches. Mrs. Smith is greatly prostrated but her injuries are not serious.
