The "Tribune" Fails to Make a Case Against the Printer.
The arguments in the case of Harry Glenn, the compositor who was arrested last week on the charge of stealing proofs of the report on the police investigation from the Tribune office, were made before the jury in Commissioner Greedman's court yesterday morning. Ogden Hiles made the opening for the prosecution, and he maintained that there was an intention on Glenn's part to commit larceny when he took the proofs, and that the proofs had a value. S. H. Lewis, for the defense, claimed that there was no intention to steal anything, and that the proofs taken were valueless. The jury evidently agreed with Mr. Lewis, for, after being out a quarter of an hour, they returned with a verdict of not guilty.
