Hold Annual Meeting, Elect Officers
The annual meeting of the Virgin Islands Society of Certified Public Accountants was held on Tuesday, August 30, 1960, in St Thomas.
The following officers were elected at this meeting to serve during the fiscal year ending August 31, 1961:
President: Norman R. Cissel
Vice-President: Hein Christensen
Secretary Treasurer: Ezra A. Gomez
Members of the Executive Committee (in addition to the above officers): D. Victor Bornn and Percy de Jongh.
Mr. Cissel plans to attend the annual meeting of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants to be held in Philadelphia during the week of September 26, 1960. The President of the United States will give an informal talk at this meeting. While in Philadelphia Mr. Cissel will also represent the Virgin Islands Society of CPAs at meetings of Council, the governing body of the American Institute of CPAs, and the Virgin Islands Board of Public Accountancy at meetings of the Association of Certified Public Accountant Examiners.
