"Dear Mr. President:

"Sometimes at your convenience I should like to discuss fully with you the future direction of the food program. After I have completed two undertakings I should like to be relieved of my present responsibility. The two unfinished jobs that I should carry further before leaving are:

1. Rounding out and announcing

Holding three meetings in New York, Chicago and San Francisco that are essential in launching the broad food education program.

"These major programs should be well shaped up and under way before the middle of July."
