He Says Nothing of Several Important Points but Perhaps Thinks So.

A Collier Useless.

WASHINGTON - A telegram was received by the secretary of the navy Monday from Admiral Dewey at Manila saying that the collier Nero arrived at Taka on the 16th with her coal on fire and suggested that as he has no further use for the vessel she be sent home.

Dewey said nothing about the political situation in the Philippines or capture of any more ships belonging either to the Spaniards or insurgents; or at least if he did the officials of the department will not admit it.
