The commencement, or more properly speaking, closing exercises of Charlotte Female Institute took place on Tuesday, 25th June. The Address of Rev. J. Henry Smith of Greensboro, was one of the best of the kind we ever heard, and the Concert at night afforded much pleasure to a large audience of ladies and gentlemen. Of course Prof. Bauman directed and was "in all his glory."
