Miss Arnold Crowned "Miss Blayton School" for 1957-58
was crowned last Saturday night in the Waluhaje Ballroom during the annual Coronation Ball sponsored by the Blayton School of Accounting.
Miss Mildred Arnold was crowned queen by Herman Clements, president of the Blayton student body, and was presented with a trophy from the school. Her attendants, Miss Robbie Hall, first, and Miss Mildred Chambliss, second, also received trophies as
token appreciation for their participation in the contest.
In addition to student president Clements, other class officers are: Rufus Battle, vice-president; Nathaniel Jacobs, business manager; Albert B. Cooper III, treasurer; Miss Clair McDaniel, secretary; Miss Marie Pettigrew, assistant secretary; John Cook, reporter, and Henry Jackson, program director.
Among those present at the Coronation Ball was Mrs. J. B. Blayton, directress of Blayton School of Accounting.
