We rejoice to learn by a private letter from a friend at Athens, that the revival at that place, has been going on with increasing power and interest. A very interesting feature in this good work, is the number of young persons who are the subjects of divine grace. Our friend has kindly given us the names of 24 of the students of Franklin College, who are numbered among those professing conversion. With most of them we are personally acquainted, and rejoice most sincerely at the good news. Our letter is dated, May 3, and says, "About 50 went to the altar last night, and a deep feeling seems to prevail among the members of the Churches here, and among the people." May the Lord most graciously be pleased to carry on and extend the influence of this work yet more and more.
