Charleston, April 5.

PICK POCKET.

A well dressed man, who calls himself Lambere, was yesterday morning committed to gaol, having been detected in picking the pocket of a gentleman at the Post-Office. We understand that several persons in this city, acquainted with his character as an old offender in this line of business at the North, (particularly in Richmond) had for several days pointed him out to the observation of their friends, which induced a watchful regard to his motions at the Post-Office, and led to his detection.
