ANNUAL SESSION AT
NEW BRITAIN TODAY.
(Special from United Press.)
New Britain, Aug. 1.--The forenoon session of the Patriotic Order Sons of America, in annual session, today, passed off so smoothly that adjournment and election of officers were predicted for late this afternoon. A. W. Willoughby, of this city, vice-president of last year, is the leading candidate for the presidency.
Secretary James Wright, of Meriden, reported that the membership had increased during the past year and that the total yearly benefits paid out by the order had reached the $50,000 mark. There are about 100 delegates here from every section of the state.
