Mr Printer,
I shall vote for NEHEMIAH R. KNIGHT as Governor of the State, at the ensuing election, for the following reasons:
1st—Because he possesses a strong, intelligent, and comprehensive mind—and as a private citizen, is respected by all parties for the purity of his morals and the equanimity of his disposition
2d—Because he will not countenance political intolerance—if elected he will be Governor of the State, "not the Governor of a party."
3d.—Because if he is elected he will feel under no obligations to aid with his influence the host of bankrupts that swarm round the present executive, claiming, as a reward for their exertions as partisans, the benefit of an act of insolvency, which act has of late years too often been extended to men totally unworthy of notice, to the great injury of the industrious Farmer, Mechanic and Laborer.
NO PARTY MAN.
