Full Text

Extract of a Letter from Bristol, May 18.

"In relation to peace, the most credited accounts from authority, seem to indicate its being removed to a more distant period than when I wrote you last. In the mean time it is apprehended, that the courts of Russia and Sweden will agree to terms of accommodation. The court of Russia remains inflexible to all offers and remonstrances, and yet it's said, no fleet is to go up the Baltick. The King of Prussia awakens the fears of all his friends, from the situation of the opening campaign, and the superiority of his enemies in numbers, &c."
