LATEST FROM ENGLAND.
By the arrival in this port of the ship Amazon, Capt. Devens, in 48 days from London, we have received papers from that city to Nov. 7. Their contents are however uninteresting, except the account of the death of The Princess Charlotte, who was delivered of a still-born male infant, on the 5th of Nov. at 9 o'clock, and expired in about five hours after. The Princess was in the 22d year of her age, and was married to the Prince of Saxe-Coburg on the 2d of May, 1816. Thus the hopes of the worn-out and debilitated Prince-Regent, of a lineal successor to his crown, are probably forever blasted --and his amiable brother, the Duke of York, should he survive, will be the future hopeful king of England.
A London paper of the 6th was brought out in the Amazon but mislaid.
