The meeting at the City Hall last evening on the subject of the Postmaster's refusal to deliver letters to Mr. Scholfield was a very numerous and respectable. The committee appointed at the preceding meeting made a full report of their proceedings, including their correspondence with the Postmaster, all of which was approved, and ordered to be published. The committee was increased to twenty, and requested to prepare and lay before the Postmaster General a remonstrance, setting forth their grievances, and respectfully requesting that he would direct the Postmaster to deliver their letters to such agent as they may choose to be entrusted with them.
