Full Text

Upon the Royal Heir's ordering a Person of high Rank, (and as rank a Coward) to quit the Court.

God bless the King! who young and brave,
With Frowns distinguish'd such a Slave,
Well might he fear his Monarch's Eye,
Who from Britannia's Flag could fly:
Could he expect, poor mean Paltroon,
From such a King to have a Boon?
Or did he hope he would replace
That Thing his Grand sire did disgrace?
In this King's Reign, it will be known,
None but the Brave attend the Throne.
Avaunt, thou Coward, hide thy Head,
Who basely from the Battle fled;
Lest some brave Briton for his Sport,
Kicks thee, vile Scoundrel, from the Court.
