On Monday last, according to desire, there was a meeting at the house of Bolton and Sigel of the subscribers to the agreement for non-importation of goods; when, we hear, a committee was appointed to inquire into, and inspect, all European importations, in order to a strict compliance with the said agreement, and also to correspond with the other colonies.
By our late accounts from South Carolina, we have reason to think they will very soon come into a similar agreement, and also not to import or purchase one imported slave.
