Just where the following came from we do not know, but it is good all the same: "T. B. Barry, of Bay City, a member of the executive board. K. of L., has been down south and is astonished at the inhuman treatment of the laboring classes there. the old aristocracy has arisen and placed it's heel on the laborer as in the days of slavery. It is horrible, says Mr. Barry, and yet Mr. Barry is and has always been a democrat. His eyes are being slowly opened to the fact that the Democratic party is not the party from which the laborer may hope to obtain justice."
