A. T. Forsberg, former state drouth relief administrator, has revealed that $4,728,455 worth of feed relief was distributed to 52,172 farmers in drouth counties during his administration, in a letter addressed to George A. Barnes of Redwood Falls who helped with the work here.

Besides outlining the work done by the drouth aid department, Mr. Forsberg thanks Mr. Barnes for his "sincere and kind co-operation" and adds "it was the evidence that you submitted to substantiate the need that made it possible for me to have part of Redwood county included in the emergency drouth area. One seldom gets thanks and gratitude for performing such valuable service to the community."
