March 24. A certain N---n in a high employment, addressed the mob at St. James's & told them, that for the sake of their wives & families, and to prevent the bad consequences of their behaviour, he would even go on his knees, if that would induce them to disperse quietly.
Strict search is making after the man, who drove the hearse before the cavalcade at St. James's, In order to trace out the principal promoters of that humorous device, and which if he be found, may prove a serious matter to the innocent inventors of it.
We are informed that the persons taken into custody at St. James's, charged with breaking the peace, will be tried under a special commission.
