Who's The Buyer?

A mystery land transaction involving Greenbelt property took place last week. News has reached city manager Charles McDonald's office that the narrow strip of land opposite the junior high school and lying between Edmonston Rd. and Kenilworth Ave. has been sold through the New York office of Webb & Knapp.

The Washington office which has been handling all the Greenbelt properties of the company, reportedly knows nothing about the sale. Local citizens are speculating that the 8.6 acre tract may be slated for use as the site of a small office building.
