FEED GANDHI'S ENERGY

BOMBAY, Aug. 24. (AP)-"Upon what meat doth this our Gandhi feed?" might well be asked by British officials who find it difficult to cope with his power over India's millions.

The answer is: "No meat at all."

The daily diet of the nationalist leader is this:

6 a. m.-A few dates, three or four spoonfuls of curds from goat's milk.
11 a. m.-A few dates or raisins, with milk curds.
2 p. m.-Cup of water with lemon juice and bicarbonate of soda.
5 p. m.--Curds, dates, and occasionally some cooked vegetables
