[From the Hudson Bee.]

The communication from the Herkimer Monitor appears to merit attention. It is from a respectable source. When we recollect col. Burr's tour in the western country, the devotion of governor Wilkinson to his views, the late arrival of col. Swartwout and Irvine at Charleston, and their procedure to the interior, with the anterior settlement of Judge Prevost (col. Burr's step-son) and Edward Livingston at New-Orleans—we can but wonder what is agitating. But at present we will forbear our remarks.
