Yardmasters Vote
To Retain BRT

PITTSBURGH - Yardmasters on the Union Railroad of Pittsburgh balloted 63 to 39 in a recent representation election to retain the BRT as their bargaining agent and to defeat an attempt of the Railroad Yardmasters of America to take over.

"I want to congratulate you, General Chairman Q. C. Gabriel, and the officers and members of Lodge 997 for their untiring efforts on behalf of the Brotherhood, which brought about such a splendid victory for our organization," President W. P. Kennedy wrote Vice-President J. P. Cahill who was on the property to assist the BRT committee in the representation vote.
