VICTORY Follows Victory. No sooner had we announced the glorious result of our District election yesterday, than we were cheered by receiving from the hand of Jas. B. Dixon, Esq., one of the members elect from Washington Co., the tidings of a complete and glorious triumph of our Legislative ticket in that District. By this triumph we gain one member. While we are gratified at the result, we would not be understood to disparage Hon. Wm. MeKusick, the late talented member of the House, from that District. He is a gentleman in every sense of the term; and no man in the last Legislature did more to defeat the swindling Railroad charter. But for his political bias, we would have rejoiced to have seen him re-elected. The following is the vote:

Dem. Whig. Dem. maj.
Dixon, 173 McKusick, 116 57
Willim, 144 McKean, 114 30
