District Court Decisions.

Judge McClenahan has handed down his decisions in the two tax cases tried by him at the November, 1909 term of court in Princeton, entitled State of Minnesota, in personal property tax proceedings, vs. Kautt and Goldsmith, and taken by him under advisement.

These cases involved the payment of personal property taxes in school districts 17 and 33, Mille Lacs county. Defendants claimed that they were unfairly assessed and that the taxes should be very materially reduced. The aggregate tax was originally $165.25 and the court ordered that it be reduced to $77.15. The decision was filed with the clerk of court here on Tuesday.
