NEW YORK, May 15--Josephine Baker, the internationally famous entertainer who has been performing before overflow audiences all over the United States, has cancelled commercial engagements in order to appear in Atlanta on June 30 to entertain delegates to the 42nd annual convention of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.
In accepting the invitation to appear at the convention, Miss Baker stated that she was "humbly grateful for the honor done me by this wonderful organization."
