Full Text

The Royal Standard a very British Ministerial paper. Speaking of America observes: The address from the President of the United States to the Senate and House of Representatives, has been read with much interest and attention. The sentiments expressed in this address are very generally entertained by the people of America; and they reflect great honor upon the government and country. It is, it must be the true policy of the United States, in the contests between the European powers, to preserve a strict and rigid neutrality; and we are persuaded that it is not the wish of this country to induce them to depart from a system, which, under the present circumstances of the world, is so evidently calculated to promote our own interests.
