PACKERS TRIAL IS RESUMED

CHICAGO, Jan. 30.—Louis Krauthoff, former general counsel for Armour & Co. was recalled to the stand this morning to give further testimony regarding the alleged promise of immunity by Commissioner Garfield to the packers.

A number of questions were asked as to the witness's advice to his clients on the question of giving the information the commissioner sought.

Charles G. Dawes, further comptroller of currency, was called as a witness to testify as to a conference at the Chicago club when it was alleged immunity had been promised.
