May 27 in Anchorage
Secretary of the Interior Fred A. Seaton recently accepted the invitation of the Alaska Press Club to appear as the featured guest speaker at its Annual Awards Banquet.
President Joe Brewer of the Alaska Press Club announced that Secretary Seaton had agreed to make the major address at the sixth annual banquet which honors outstanding staff members of Alaska's newspapers, radio and television stations and other news media.
Secretary Seaton will arrive in Anchorage on May 27 while on a brief tour of the Territory.
The Awards Banquet is scheduled to be held the following evening at the Westward Hotel in Anchorage.
