A full week of religious worship, featuring local churches, will mark the celebration of the 58th anniversary of Allen AME Church, Euclid Avenue at Fifth Street, beginning Sunday, Jan. 28, and closing Sunday, Feb. 4, under the direction of the Rev. C. Johnson, assistant pastor, and a committee. The public is cordially invited to attend the services, programmed as follows:
January 28, at 3:30 p. m.: Minister and choir of Mt Enon Baptist Church; 7:30 p. m., musical program featuring the Senior Choir of Allen AME Church
January 29, at 7:30 p. m.: The Rev. Revere, minister and choir, St Luke Baptist Church
Jan. 30, at 7:30 p. m., the Rev. McFarlane, minister and choir, Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
Jan. 31, at 7:30 p. m., the Rev. Henderson, and choir, Corinthian Baptist Church
February 1. at 7:30 p. m., Elder U. E. Miller, minister and choir, Church of God in Christ.
Feb 2, at 7:30 p. m, the Rev. Wadlowe, and choir, Phillips Temple Church.
Bishop Allen To Speak
On Sunday, Feb. 4, at 10:45 a. m, Bishop A. J. Allen of the Third Episcopal District of the AME Church. from Cleveland, will deliver the address At 3:30 p. m., the Rev. J. W. Broaddus, pastor of Tabernacle : Baptist Church, will speak, and candle-light service, featuring the Wright Singers, will be held at 7:30 p. m.
All meetings will be held at Allen AME Church of which the Rev. M. C. Pollack is minister.
Mrs. Freddie Marchant is publicity director of the church.
