New York, Dec. 16.

FROM HALIFAX.

On Saturday last, arrived at this port the Schooner Industry, Capt. Bryant, in 64 days from Liverpool via Halifax. Among the passengers, is Capt. Worthington, of the brig American, of Baltimore, whose vessel, as well as the ship Susquehannah, of the same place, were condemned at Halifax, for being bound to Tonningen, and having certificates of origin on board. It is said orders were given to detain all American vessels bound to Tonningen, considering that place as in a state of blockade; and that two frigates & a sloop of war had sailed for the purpose of intercepting our vessels....Pub.
