BANK GUARANTEE BILL
Little Rock, Feb. 20.—The House yesterday afternoon, after a spirited debate, passed the Beard bill providing for a bank guaranty fund to be raised by the payment of one-twentieth of one per cent of the average deposits of the participating banks.
The vote was as follows: Ayes—Anderson, Andrews, Beard, Blankenship, Campbell of Faulkner, Carter of Pike, Carson, Chambliss, Choate, Crump, Duvall, Gower, Grim, Gurley, Harris, Hartsfield, Held, Henry, Hill of Independence, Jackson of Dallas, Jackson of Howard, Jameson, Joiner, Jones, Kelley, Mauldin, Mason, McConnell, Meador, Porter, Privett, Reagon, Reed, Rogers, Seamster, Shinn, Stevens, Talkington, Thomas, Thompson of Independence, Turner, Wade, Wilcoxson, Williams of Perry, Williams of Washington, Mr. Speaker.
