Detroit Cadets Denied Admission to the State Troops.

LANSING, Mich., Jan. 11.-The State Military Board has denied the petition of the Detroit cadets for admission to the State troops, the quota being full. Inspector Col. Newberry was authorized to attend the meeting of the National Guard officers at Chicago, January 15. And they also authorized a delegation to attend the meeting of the National Guard Association of the United States, to be held in Washington February 5. Congress was urged to make a large appropriation for the National Guard.
