Two candidates, Harold Dapprich and Robert Taber, received the second rank, and final plans for the Memorial Sunday program, May 3 at the Presbyterian Church were made by Queen City Lodge number 167, Knights of Pythias, Monday evening in K. P. Hall. Queen City Lodge, Pythian Sisters, and Princes of Syracuse will meet at the hall at 10:30, Sunday morning and march to the church. Ray Burrell, grand chancellor commander, reported on the meeting of Lafayette Lodge, Friday evening in Detroit.
The third rank will be conferred on three candidates next Monday night. The Wolverine Lodge, number 49, Princes of Syracuse, will exemplify the initiatory work at the next area meeting to be at Port Huron, May 17, instead of May 10, as formerly announced. Wolverine Lodge held a practice of the ritualistic work at 7 o'clock and will practice again next Monday night at 7 o'clock.
Lunch was served after the meeting by the committee, Ralph McDonald, James Breed and LaMarr Thumm.
