Kansas City & St. Louis At It
Small Towns Scared.
Chief Edwards of Kansas City police force is having all suspects run in and then orders for them to run out of the city are given. Many who have had political pull heretofore are victims and the pictures in the rogues gallery are being added to daily. Small towns near Kansas City and St. Louis are taking measures to prevent becoming the lodging place for the riffraff. Some of the chief offenders who have escaped the drag net for years are much surprised but convinced. If chief Edwards does not overdo the gab stunt his work will be effective for a time at least, but he seems inclined to say considerable to make himself understood. Crooks catch on easily.
