COMMUNICATION.
Having observed in your paper an account of the Arlington sheep shearing, I am induced, for the reputation of my neighborhood, to inform you that there was sheared, at Northampton, in Prince George's county, the residence of Mr. Osborn Sprigg, from nine sheep, seventy-two pounds of fine long wool. It is to be lamented, for the interest of domestic manufactures, which deeply concerns us all, that the laudable example of Messrs. Custis and Sprigg is not generally attended to.
