A Salute to Rockville
The All-America City
1955 & 1961

For the second time since 1955, Rockville has been selected All-America City in the competition sponsored by the National Municipal League and Look magazine which honors U.S. cities whose citizens have played an outstanding role in improving their communities.

The All-America flag was raised over Rockville's new City Hall on Saturday, March 17 by Governor J. Millard Tawes at the official dedication of the new City Building.

Officials of the National Municipal League and Look presented the All-America City award in formal ceremonies at City Hall yesterday, April 6, at 8:30 p.m.

The following public spirited merchants, firms and organizations extend their sincere congratulations to Mayor Greene, the City Council and all those connected with bringing this great honor to our city.
