LONDON, Nov. 1—(UP)—The first air raid alarm in more than three months was sounded in the London area tonight.
A single German raider dropped bombs in one district of London, believed to be in the outskirts. Otherwise the metropolitan area was quiet.
Other air raiders were reported over northwest England.
It was the capital's first air alarm since the morning of July 28—95½ days of immunity for the world's greatest city which a year ago was under an intensive aerial siege.
