PRINCIPALS RECEIVE ANNUAL LINKS WELFARE FUND CHECKS

Pictured from left are Mesdames Lowell C. Wormley, Fred V. Williams, and Charles Dunne. These members of The Links of Phoenix hosted an annual tea honoring local school principals.

The tea was held at the home of Links president, Mrs. J.S. Jones, of 2160 E. Corona.

Christmas comes early each year for the welfare funds of Valley elementary schools. Santa in the form of the very active Links of Phoenix, annually present school principals with adequate checks to aid deserving children in their respective schools.

These checks were presented at an annual autumn tea held last Sunday afternoon at the home of Mrs. J.S. Jones, 2160 E. Corona.

Each year The Links of Phoenix present checks to local elementary school principals to assist with school welfare projects.

Members attending the annual tea include, front, Mesdames Robert Phillips, Joseph Island, J. S. Jones, Clarence Jackson, and Charles Dunne.
