Hemingway, June 8. Mrs. Deaver and children of Carlisle, are visiting the former's parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Bass.
Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Lambert of Greenville, are visiting relatives here.
The following college students are at home for the summer: Miss Ada Brown, University of South Carolina; Misses Mildred Hemingway and Mildred Huggins, Columbia College; Misses Olga Harmon, Victoria Thames, Jane Hemingway, Docia and Lorena Powers, Coker College.
Mrs. Clyburn of Charleston, spent Tuesday with her daughter, Mrs. F. L. Eaddy.
Mrs. Eugene Scurry and children of Miami, are visiting the former's parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Lambert.
Miss Louise Harper of Lake City, is visiting friends here.
Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Gregory of Jefferson, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. N. M. Venters.
Mr. and Mrs. Van Harper of Lake City, spent Sunday with friends.
Dr. and Mrs. L. G. Day and little daughter, Miriam, spent the week-end with relatives in Mullins.
Mr. and Mrs. Z. H. McDaniel and children visited Darlington, Columbia and other points of interest in this part of the state last week.
Daniel and Gamble Smith of Bloomingvale, visited their sister, Mrs. Melvin Cribb, Sunday.
David Oliver is spending some time with his grandmother at Centenary.
Messrs Bushardt and Taylor spent Thursday at Myrtle Beach, where they attended the bankers' meeting.
Mrs. E. L. Rogers of Ninety Six, spent several days last week with her father, Mr. L. L. Ard.
Miss Janese Bushardt, James Bushardt and Elsie Bushardt left last week for Newberry where they will visit relatives.
