Dice Patron Wins Fortune Before Luck Deserts Him

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (P) -- A gambling casino has gotten back $9,000 of the $35,000 a Californian won during a hot run of dice at the crap table.
Jack Callie of Beverly Hills, the lucky shooter, started with $10 and lost during his fantastic streak everyone who could crowd up to the table was betting along with him. In two hours the house was reported to have lost $112,000.
A spokesman for the casino said Callie came back the next night and dropped $9,000 before deciding his luck had run out. He is president of the Beverly Hills Bridge Club.
