RECOMMENDATION.

The undersigned, having attended one course of Mr. S. Kirkham's lectures on English Grammar, take pleasure in expressing their entire approbation of his plan; and, also, of cordially recommending it to the attention of all who are deficient in their knowledge of this science. The pleasing and able manner in which Mr. Kirkham communicates a knowledge of grammar to others, in our opinion, renders it an object for those who are anxious to become practical grammarians, to avail themselves of the advantages of his instructions.
